The AION Shield represents a significant advancement in remote patient monitoring technology, designed to facilitate improved patient outcomes through continuous health oversight.

Working in conjunction with the AION application, the AION Shield offers real-time monitoring of a patient's body temperature. It captures temperature readings every five minutes, which are then transmitted to the AION application for comprehensive review. Users can access not only their current temperature but also a 24-hour history, with the option to manually input oral temperatures as needed.

The device is engineered for prolonged wear, allowing patients to be monitored for up to 30 days, ensuring that healthcare providers have access to vital data at any time. This constant stream of temperature readings enables clinicians to respond promptly and effectively to any changes in a patient's condition.

Importantly, the AION Shield's application adheres strictly to HIPAA regulations regarding data privacy. The system is designed to ensure that no personal information is collected, stored, or transmitted, with all temperature readings securely handled.

Users are advised to enable NFC, Bluetooth, and an active Internet connection on their devices prior to use. It is crucial to keep Bluetooth turned on while wearing the AION Shield to maintain connectivity.
